I'm glad montiel is looking for these fights, but I thought he was losing to hasagawa until he got the KO. looking forward to the rematch.

Nonito tried to fight Morel at 118, but that pedophile is too much of a chicken.

I think Montiel beats Darchinyan easily. But Montiel vs. Donaire would be a good fight.

Lil JMM and Montiel have expressed interest in fighting Darchinyan. Personally, I would love to see Lil JMM starch him, and retire. But let's say Darchinyan is fed to Montiel. Wonder if Donaire would consider going up to featherweight on a one time deal and fighting Lil JMM? He's reportedly walking around above 130, so its a thought. I think Lil JMM is further gone than many think based on his destruction of his arch rival. Lil JMM is a former bantamweight, so I don't think he would be just huge compared to Donaire. Donaire needs to make a splash, and he appears not to have the dance partner to do it. Jumping three divisions and fighting JMM would make the splash I think he needs.

BTW since when did nonito become a world beater at 118, in fact who has nonito beaten other the darchinyan in his career?

Couldn't have asked a better question! Vic has moved on since Nonito and won against decent opponents (and is now a title holder at bantam)... hence deserves the bigger opportunities! Would suck to have a ****ty promoter not working hard enough for such a talent...poor Nonito, but that's not VIc's fault!!!

Darchinyan-Montiel is a mismatch to me too. But at least it's not as bad as Rafa-Darchinyan given the size differences.

Instead fo Darchinyan calling out all these bigger guys that will flatten his ass, why not fight guys like Hugo Cazares and Omar Navarez who are in his division and who he stands a chance of beating. Sorry, getting outclassed for 4+ rounds and then getting his brain knocked into orbit doesn't exactly make Donaire-Darchinyan II necessary to him. Seeing the "Raging Mouth" totally outclassed by a second tier bantamweight doesn't exactly make me believe that he'll do all that well with the class of that division Montiel. And seeing him flopping all over the ring against a hard punching flyweight in Donaire doesn't exactly make me real confident that he'll handle Lil JMM's power all that well. Moral of the story is, Darchinyan is irrelevant above the 115 lb division.

Donaire should be looking for someone who is more credible opponents like montiel, r. marquez...... darchinyan is just a waste of time for donaire.......
