the corrales fight was a historic accomplishment. my favorite fight for floyd is hatton, the sweeping left hook counter that knocked out hatton was the best punch in boxing history. the anticipation, balance and timing was out of this world.

my criteria for a good fight is WAR. Fights like Ward vs Gatti, all of Pac's trilogy. The excitement level when it is a real war is in another level with so much uncertainties. It is very thrilling.

Yes, Floyd's win against Corrales was exceptional but then so was Pac's against great opposition like Barrera and Cotto - one sided bludgeoning.

Gatti was just Gatti. Good boxer but never had a chance against Floyd.
