this trend of asking for additional drug testing is clearly a way for a fighter to duck another fighter....just man up and fight

Exactly. Povetkin as a much lesser known challenger has no right to demand these drug tests on the champion.

Im not against better drug testing but it should be done as a whole reform not just one fight here and there.

He was the number one contender. If he felt that he was not ready, then he should have given up his right to challenge to the title to the people who felt that they are ready. He was given 3 chances to fight Wlad.

He's been Wlad's mandatory for almost 2 years, did you know that?

Povetkin (nor anyone else for that matter) would demand these tests if they were fighting Haye for the WBA belt. Though considering Haye's physique, his desire to pack on muscle, and his gain of 25 lbs of fighting weight in a little over a year make him a much more obvious suspect.

This is just a ploy to duck the fight without taking a PR hit, just like Floyd did with Pac.

I've never seen a situation in boxing where so many fighters are absolutely terrified to get into a ring and fight the best fighter in the division for a career high payday. It's like a trip to the Twilight Zone.
