i think its legal.. i heard there mostly sponsored by politicians or the cable provider compensates for the expenses they made by inserting advertisments in between rounds or small pictures in the screen advertising products. or so i think.Comment

heres what my cuzzo jus told me thru email:
In the Philippines, they even have the Araneta Coliseum for his fights, but you gotta pay. All boxing fights are free in the Philippines, but yeah, there are hella commercials and it’s not really live so you always got some douche yelling out who won on the streets…I was gonna watch Cotto/Pacquiao at Araneta, but changed my mind when I found out for that fight only they were putting in on live cable for free so just ended up watching it at home w/a bunch of people. Even though it was free, I still wanted to go and watch it in theaters, but just felt lazy the day of the fight. It’s pretty tight in PI. Just drinking and karaoke, food, relax…that fight if it happens would be a great place to watch it. Then everyone would just part on the streets after it’s done…Damn, I wanna go again bad.Comment
