First of Styles make fights. What you saw was solid evidence that Shane never did have anything to offer Floyd other than his raw physical talent. Shane was never a thinker in the ring and his son will not benefit from his training.
If anything Floyd would have tko'd Shane in 2000 but in reality the fight would have looked exactly the same 9 out 10 times.

Richardson's coaching was waaay overrated !
What was up with the flimsy blue polls instead of pads ? I remeber Steward mentioning the fact that Shane's punches were not CRISP and I think this is due to those bs polls.
I think Richardson wanted to capitalize on the flash of Mosley's little flickering roll punches as if it would confuse Floyd but Floyd made it clear in 24/7 that he was ready for that bs by mocking it....you've scene the gif !
Richardson also advised Shane to jab and attempt to box Floyd after round 2's big shot ?????????
He said don't look for the big shot it will come.....Well with a boxer/brawler like JMM maybe that would help but Shane has never been a "BOXER" so why advise him to box the best BOXER in the world ???
If anything Shane should have gone all out like he knows best and when he ran out of steam he could have started to BOX just long enough to get that 2nd wind up and go back to those heymakers imo !!!
I also noticed Richardson telling Shane that all Mayweather had was conditioning and that's where his advantage was ????????/
Why the fkk is it Richardson didn't make absolute sure Shane was in 12 round condition going into a fight where he is most likely to lose by decision ?
It seems to me you'd train for stamina, angles, and timing.
Even if swinging and missing is what wore Shane down prematurely he had more than enough time to get over that in training.
Age doesn't make any difference. If JMM, Hopkins, and Jones can hold up for 12 Shane should be able to do the same. He sure went a while with that punching bag Margarito !I'm almost positive George Foreman fought until he was like 80 lol j/k !!!
