Name value is nothing , what matters is when you beat them in relation to their best , Cotto was damaged goods just the same as Mosley was 38 with Floyd and Clottey was in house , while JMM fought fought Floyd 4 lb heavier than when he fought Manny while Oscar gained 2 pounds after recieving IV fluids to be out weighed by Manny in the fight , Oscar should have had a stone advantage like he had over Floyd ,,,,,,,,

First of all, the way you ask the question (PED), people will have a hard time believing you really hoping someone will come up with a well thought out reason.

This was not a duck and you all know it. Here is what I think.

Floyd fought a Mosley that was turning 39, had a 1.5 year layoff and was tested for drugs. So my initial point is, this was not the Mosley that Manny was going to fight. He would not have asked for a test and didn't expect a rusty Mosley coming into the ring.

One thing that people need to take into consideration. Whichever fighter Manny would have fought it was a risk for Manny since he is not a natural WW. So Roach has to draw a conclusion, who can Manny fight, in ONLY HIS SECOND FIGHT AT WW, that will bring in big money, have a better chance of winning against and will still be looked as a risky fight amongst the boxing fans.

When they selected Cotto, it was NOT a shoe-in and that Manny was going to roll right over Cotto the way he did. Actually, until Manny knocked him down, Cotto was doing well in the fight. Remember that by this time, Cotto KNEW that he lost to a cheat and could have blamed the loss due to Margos cheating and not his own abilities since he had only lost to Margo. So psychologically, this could have gone against Roaches conclusions.

Another thing is, do you all consider Roach right in everything that he thinks about his opponents? He thinks Manny can now knock Floyd out. So you guys agree about those conclusions?

Or better yet, why don't you include the piece of how Floyd Sr couldn't believe how a small Manny can beat Cotto, the natural WW. So even Floyd and company saw the risk in the Cotto fight!
