It was a fight were we saw both fighters in situations they've never been in before, therefore, doing things we've never seen them do. I WAS proud of Abner, though, for pressing the action after telling his corner he was tired. I was worried he was going to start folding given his lack of experience in that situation.

IMO, Mares playing the back foot in the early rounds clearly took a toll in his stamina. Hope they are better prepared in the rematch. It seems that their styles complement each other. Wish there was a winner though.

I'm a Floyd fan. I enjoy his 24/7 persona, but I enjoy his style of fighting even more.

I'm also a Pac fan because his fights are almost always exciting. Plus his singing hilarious.

I can see how one could hate on some fighters. But I don't get how anyone can hate on either Floyd or Manny. They're the two best in the sport and it's a pleasure to watch them do their thing.
