Another day, another statement from Team Pacquiao about how they just can't make the fight. Months ago Mayweather issued an official statement explaining that the 14 day cut off and 50-50 split were off of the table, and why. Why is Pacquiao just now responding to that announcement as if Mayweather has said this recently? Has any of you Pacquiao fanatics posed this question to yourselves?

All the *******s in the world can't change his numbers. Numbers are fact and they just aren't better than floyds. So why do people think he deserves 50/50? This for a guy who refuse to give Hatton 50/50? wow

      Myyyyyyyy god

You said it yourself. His POPULARITY.In a fight your POPULARITY=OUTSTANDING PPVS.He's more the popular not just in the US and phillipines.

You must be ill-legite to ever think mayweather is more popular at this point.

@Socram, Pacman doesn't fight for money, he fights because he love's it and he is good at it. Floyd fights for himself and money, which is fine, good for him. Plus, Pacman doesn't need the money, he is more than set for life. If Floyd was smart, he should get an accountant to make sure he still has money when his career is over...

In the U.S., maybe Floyd outdid Manny but what about world wide. You know when somebody fights Ricky Hatton, the money goes up because of U.K. money, and when Pacman fights, crime in the Phillipines comes to a standstill because EVERYONE watches. You can't just count the U.S., you have to count the world and when counting how many people watch, I think you will find that each fighter is dead even....
True. But his loss was extremely controversial and noteworthy here in the US. Thats why he wasn't a star from the beginning.

What I was saying is that if Manny were an American, the "ggod guy" role ODH and Leonard played would make him appeal more to the US mainstream.

Doesn't matter what happens overseas. I was only talking domestic revenue and thats all the promoters factor in when talking ppv numbers. That may be unfair but thats the way it is.

Popularity isn't what we are talking. Ability to generate ppv's is. Manny may be more well liked but floyd generates more sales. Manny wouldbe the car that gets a 5 star rating from consumer reports. floyd would be the car more people have.

Floyd and his team obviously have a better grasp of trying to not negotiate through the media this time around.

Lol right...yes you're right wreaks of this supposed "knowledge" you have. I'm not insulting you. I'm pointing out your clear bias with each and everyone of your posts, which all too often lack proper context. How long ago did Pac reach the height of his popularity, in regards to PPV? How can you measure that effectively against Floyd's PPV without coming to the conclusion that the numbers are comparable period.
Ganster boogie? I haven't even cursed or threatened you once.
Or maybe I have because I actually am using my brain to pick
you apart. I guess you do have the right to feel threatened.
I've had life szie posters of Cotto/Pac/Berto/Mosley/Clottey/Williams.
BUT you only see Floyd once again....... You keep proving me right

When figthers like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield can earn 100's of millions and still end up broke says something too. $40 million is alot of money to pass up, regardless of why.

Money wont be the main issue in making this fight, just like last time there Is so much money to be made... that an agreement on Money will happen.

All will fall right back on testing.
