damn! it is really frustrating... this is a very huge money fight and still there is an issue for the SPLIT?

manny and floyd are very famous and will surely break sales records. i don't mind who got higher ppv sales but just imagine if they are combined.

WHY SHOULD FLOYD GET MORE MONEY.. the following WEBSITES still have PAC rated as No. 1 POUND 4 POUND after the FLOYD & MOSLEY fight.. boxing.about.com, proboxing-fans.com, ring magazine, secondsout.com, ringtv.com. The other sites are not up to date but still lists PAC on top.

LOL! Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in boxing and you're going to compare him to JMM who never sold millions of PPVs, lol. Compare Cotto vs. Manny to Shane vs. Floyd and tell me who sold more PPVs. Mosley is not an A-side boxer and never sold millions of PPVs.

Mosley not an A-side boxer? c'mon...both mosley and mayweather are a-side american (you may add black slick american) fighters! compare to pac and cotto who are foreigners doing great ppv numbers in US. and besides not much of a difference in ppv numbers.

The key to a successful Mayweather promotion is to have an opponent that his haters (who outnumber his fans probably 2:1) think has a chance to beat him, and hav an opponent that the hardcore community will accept. Williams or Martinez will fit both criteria. There's a hardcore base of about 300K-500K that will always buy a great match-up. I think Mayweather against either will get 300K-500K hardcore homes to buy. Mayweather also has a group of about of about a million that will buy regardless of who he's fighting. If you look at those two sets of numbers, you'll see where Mayweather's totals for JMM and Mosley came from. he got the million that will always buy in the JMM fight, but virtually no support from the hardcore community. With Mosley, he got the million that will always buy and what pushed it to 1.4 was the support of the hardcore community. The same would hold true with Williams or Martinez. I might not do the 1.4M because I think the longer Money and Pac go without fighting each other, there will be backlash that will affect boths PPV numbers. But, i think Mayweather would do a million easily with either of those cats.

Do you know what an A-side boxer is?

Mosley never sold millions of PPVs. His biggest payday was against Floyd and he sold the most PPVs against Floyd. Mosley fought on HBO and ESPN a few years ago. Mosley is not an A-side boxer and will never be one.

When you come up with anything to delay a fight, you don't want to fight. It's easy to run around and say your the best, but you have to actually get in the ring and prove it. He(Mayweather) is eventually going to loose that "0" real soon. The things you fear the most will come to challenge you eventually. All great fighters loose to other great fighters. It's called boxing. But this is something that Mayweather knows nothing about since he is too scared to really fight tough fights. You are the greatest at financially avoiding fighters, I will give you that. Pernell Whitaker would have schooled you easily. I came from that era. I saw the end of the Muhammad Ali era, the Pernell Whitaker era, the Sugar Ray Leonard era and the Roy jones era. These fighters are great because they all eventually took a chance, win or loose and fought the fighters, regardless of what some fans thought. It's called boxing. So just stop, like you say Floyd and start boxing or retire and stop letting the sport of boxing become a circus, because you are starting to really hurt the sport. YOU ARE REALLY HURTING THE SPORT.
