It's halarious that Manny n his team excused ducking Shane by saying he's not a draw and Cotto will bring in much more money, now Floyd not only does 1.4mil buys but it also happens to be the 2nd biggest non HW fight of all time n they still want 50-50? Basically if that was Cotto it could have done 1.6mil. Against every common opponent Floyd's killed Manny. Floyd's got 6.2mil buys in 7ppv fights

Manny has about 5.6mil buys in 11ppv fights lol its no contest. Floyd holds the record for the biggest n 2nd biggest PPV fights, he's got 3 fights in the top 10 biggest live gates for any fight and Manny holds 1.

Floyd deserves more money but I gotta see what he's asking for, if its like a 35-65 than he's fooling himself, 60-40 is still pushing it, 55-45 seems reasonable tho considering his numbers which are consistant and always higher than Manny's

Well,I think Pac and Money May's PPV power is equal.

Money did bigger numbers because he fought more sellable fighters.
Oscar was a has been when he fought Manny, and people thought it was a mismatch.
Marquez was more known by casuals after his lightweight ride when he fought Floyd.

Hatton the fraud wasn´t exposed yet when Floyd fought him.
Clottey doesn't bring money though he's a solid opponent.

In other words,Mayweather picks smarter,he picked an old Mosley who was on the wave because he looked brillant against a tailor made fraud like Margo.

      Honnestly,if you can do 700 000 with Josh,you can do 1 400 000 with Mosley.
I think they have the same PPV power just right now.

      50 50

Exactly. Ducking Mosley to fight Clottey is the epitome of a duck quack.

As if this would be shocking? Didn't Mayweather say this from the VERY beginning after the fight fell through?

Didn't EVERYONE expect him to ask for more if he pulled more numbers and looked better at doing it than Pac?

Also from going with the Pac Cotto PPV logic that would STILL have Mayweather selling more by over a quarter of million buys which is STILL higher. So again, how is all of this surprising?

It should be 50/50 to avoid egos. Pacquiao has agreed to Floyd's ridiculous demands, and now he's called Floyd's bluff. Floyd is trying to get out of this fight, just as he did when Cotto and Margarito were hot. He avoided them at all costs with ridiculous claims, terms, and demands.

How can a boring boxer demand so much? Even a clown in a circus does everything to entertain the audience with a few bucks.

Ahhhh! Come on Floyd, just either take the 50-50 or a 60-40 split where the WINNER takes 60.... This fight is too big for anyone to argue over money...

Precisely. Team Pac wants to go by Pac-Cotto numbers, then they should also consider Hoya-Mayweather which did way more than the last few fights.
