  • If Pacquiao had signed to GBP after Morales III....

Would we still be waiting for mayweather v pacquiao?? Would he even be 7 time 7 division champion???

hmm it depends, i think the answer is still yes

The fight with diaz wouldnt have happened i think, a tougher fight would have been made. The hatton and oscar fight would have still happened.

The cotto fight may not have happened but I think a mosley fight would have happened instead of that or clottey

No and yes if he wanted them. GBP promote the fights, they don't pick them as far as I know.

Mayweather's rise up the belts was of his own choosing.

Of course we are. GBP is subpar in making stars. They the new "Don King" in the sense they are good with taking establish stars and making money off of them.

GBP would be defending Manny right now against Floyd, instead of being against him. Manny never roided, Mosley did. Shafer still defended Mosley against judah when judah wanted a roids test (not OSTs) against Shane.

"Whatever tests they want them to take, Shane will submit to that. We are not going to do other tests than the Nevada commission requires," Schaefer said. "The fact is Shane is not a cheater and he does not need to be treated like one."

But thats how it goes, floyd is under GBP, so theyre on his side.

although, Shaffer did say Floyd sr is an idiot. Everyone is an agreement to that, except the newly found ped crusaders

Am sure all promoters are doing the same

No way he would have been 7 times world champ with GBP.

Thanks to their distaste for the guy and wanting to knock him out, manny made himself a bigger attraction. DLH hated him since the court case issue with Top Rank and Manny. He fought him to beat him and just dug his own grave.

GBP put forward all people that they thought had a shot and fell short.

Of course they are. My thing is GBP has yet to take a good prospect ect and make him into a big name. They will have their opportunity with Ortiz, Alvarez and Gomez, but as of now they have only had success by taking guys like Khan, Hatton, and others who already have huge buzzez and making money off of them. Pac had a huge buzz after Barrera fight, but I'm not sold on GBP building guys careers just yet and its one thing to do that and its another to just take a guy like Floyd and match him up with someone as popular as Hatton (the latter is easy, the prior one is alot harder).
