i guess these sports really shouldnt be compared. theyre both combat sports but entirely different. in boxing there is only one discipline to learn, while in mma, one should train various discipline.

so its hard to say which is best.

"Jack of all trades, master of none."

MMGAY fans tend to confuse skills with options. It's true, there isn't any kicking or groping allowed in the sport of boxing, but boxing is far more than just throwing a fist at a target.

Demian Maia/Roger Gracie/Jacare Souza are not a masters of jiu jitsu? Johnny Hendricks/Ben Askren are not masters of wrestling? Alistair Overeem/Mirko Filipovic weren't masters of kickboxing? Fedor Emelianenko isn't a master of sambo? Satoshi Ishii isn't a master of Judo?

MMA is far more than kicking or groping. Go ahead, don't be afraid to actually watch it once in a while.

          not really.

do u think klits would win against couture in the discipline of wrestling (wrestling is not just positioning like ****ing)?

the way bj penn would lose against even featherfisted malignaggi (because boxing is far more than punching), regardless of their weight.

btw, i read somewhere that floyd sr. didnt want his son to fight in mma because he would want him to break his bones while he earns little.
