Many think that Yuri will impose a great threat, but I think he won't.
People think that Yuri will outbox Cotto all night, but we all must have forgot that Cotto cuts the ring pretty good, and with Manny Steward in his corner, I can tell that Cotto is going to come in 100% more confident and with the loss of this father this year... I wouldn't count Cotto out.
Cotto has been in wars throughout his career and has changed.. I seen it.. I seen him when he first debuted in 2001. Its sad stuff, but happy for the dude and his accomplishments.. Cotto of old.. I miss that ni99a.
All i'm saying is that people think Yuri is this Margarito or Manny Pacman or even Clottey. Yuri doesn't have heavy hands and crazy output like Tony, nor the angles. Nor the speed of Pacman or Clottey. His chin is yet to be revealed, and we will find out. Yuri has flaws that need to be exposed, and I'm sure Cotto will expose and answer these questions.. Easy fight for Cotto? I don't think so, but I do think Cotto win's this fight by a late stoppage. If Yuri wants to win, he is going to have to take chances.. Cotto WILL counter Yuri if he decides to box. To beat Cotto you have to apply pressure. Yuri will NOT win if he decides to box.
Cotto's weakness is pressure and output. Yuri does none.. All he does is box.. He does have the ability too, but I don't think his corner wants to risk their fighter taking that many chances.
These are just my opinions, so say as you must, but unless you're willing to bet points on that **** then don't talk. Back it up.
