Chris Meyer, Managing Director for Sauerland Event, confirmed to BoxingScene.com that a fight with Audley Harrison is one possible scenario for WBA heavyweight champion David Haye - if a deal is not reached with WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. The Klitschko-Haye negotiations are still ongoing, but both sides are also exploring other possible options. [Click Here To Read More]

i wouldnt blame him if he did take the harrison fight, its a ****ty lopsided match up where haye wins big and easily against harrison. it would make them both big money from uk audiences and tv revenue, regardless of how many of you internet boxing fans would tap away on your keyboards in disguist calling haye a ducker, it makes financial sense for both men who are both coming quickly to the end of their careers and big pay days.
i think after vitali fights this weekend it all becomes a lot clearer with haye and what he does, as ive written on here a few times im not sure haye beats either klit, so why hold it against him to secure his future before he loses his belt, he will probably make more money fighting the bum harrison then he will either klit and i for one would love to see fraudley handed a savage beating

Pah. Akinwande and passports...
The last true world HW title fight between top level British-born fighters was Lennox-Bruno in '93. And a good fight it was, too. I had it 3 rounds apiece going into that brutal seventh.Comment

Harrison should not be an option at all, If he cant make a Wlad fight he sould fight Vitali, if he cant do that he should fight Adamek, if he cant do that someone like Peter or Chageav but Harrison is the bottom of the barrel, A lot of British fans will see right through that fight.Comment

Harrison would be a legit option in terms of ££££££, it's two Brits going at it, and mainstream UK viewers wouldn't know the likes of Peter or Chagaev. Most of them hardly even know the Klitschkos and still think Tyson's around.Harrison should not be an option at all, If he cant make a Wlad fight he sould fight Vitali, if he cant do that he should fight Adamek, if he cant do that someone like Peter or Chageav but Harrison is the bottom of the barrel, A lot of British fans will see right through that fight.
I would laugh if Harrison beat Haye (which I don't regard as impossible). Say what you like about Audley, I know if he had the chance to unify a WBA strap with the Klits he'd take it.Comment

I agree with the last bit Harrison given the chance would have allready fought a Klit but he does not deserver a title shot I dont hate him or anything but beating Sprott shouldnt give you a title shot. Plus if i was Haye i would never take that fight at least lossing to the Klits in no disgrace but if Harrison landed a lucky punch and knocked him out he would be a laughing stock.Harrison would be a legit option in terms of ££££££, it's two Brits going at it, and mainstream UK viewers wouldn't know the likes of Peter or Chagaev.
