I agree with Goodman, that 18 day window is not applaudable
In hindsight its not, but they didnt use, because everyday they were on edge not knowing if they would come or not. The test is a deterrant on its randomness. As long as people dont know when, they wont take it. It doesnt have to be every week.
I don't understand everyone's problem with the 18 day cut off.
Obviously neither of the fighters were going to juice within that period because how were they to know that they weren't gonna be tested 7 days before the fight? 5 days? 1 day? They had no way of knowing, did they? I'm sure they both thought another test would come before the fight, unless I've missed something and they were actually told there would be no more tests.
It's apparently legal in Vegas, or something. I think it's illegal just about anywhere else in the US. There's been a lot of speculation that that's why ***** *****, I mean Pretty Boy Gayweather only fights in Vegas, and refuses to fight anywhere else.
