You know Cotto signed a contract extension before getting the Pacquiao fight that's at least a couple years, right? If it's that easy to get out of a contract and he genuinely wanted to leave, I'm sure Cotto would've left already.

Hate him or love him, Arum has put Cotto on the big stage several times. What else do you expect a Promoter to do besides give you the opportunity?
