His comments received little to no backlash by the media. It showed people of a certain race can make racist comments without being criticized while other people of different race would be called racists, ****s, etc. That's how it affects me.

my problem is when they start insulting and sluring racial comments on other nationalities which is something Klitschko fans are VERY well known for doing....
Of course, it is generally more fun when watching a boxing match to root for a fighter.
Chances are you will root for a fighter because you might have an empathy with them, usually nationality, like their style, think they are a good guy etc
Regarding their colour I think it only can be viewed as sinister if that factor always overides any other factor.
At the end of the day if you are a fan of boxing you really are going to miss out on appreciating some great fighters if you don't like a particular race nationality, religeon etc etc.
Boxing's greatest strength is its diversity and may it always remain so.

I don't feel like posting a bunch of stuff. But what were you expecting? National media coverage on a fight that barely drew boxing fans?

I've been accused of being racist over and over again for years here at boxingscene because many of my favorites are East European fighters.
It's cool man; Europe loves you back!

That is barely a negative reaction considering Hopkins comments. I didn't expect National media coverage, I expected specialized boxing media to be more critic of those comments. If Calzaghe had made those comments he would be called a racist and a ****, at least.

But given that you seemed to get confused by me answering you back as in the example below:

Do you consider the life of a *********** Arab to be worth as much as the life of an Israeli ***?

When I asked before, you just said "all life is precious"

But you didn't REALLY answer the questions. Are some lives more precious than others?
I'll clarify, if Foreman fought Brook I would support Brook

Oh I never misunderstand you Tunney
I'll ignore the rest of that tosh, I always support a Brit. I might not always think they are too good a fighter but i'll cheer them on. Couple of times a Brit who I wasn't much of a fan of has fought a foreign fighter I was a big fan of and I generally remain neutral there.

Please produce a quote where I have called you a **** because you are a fan of Eastern European boxers.
I am suprised that you have never seemed to mention Berbick or Lewis, two Canadian fighters who won the Heavyweight title but it is you who always produce the race card when anyone critisises the Klitschko brothers.

I am not fearful of whites rooting for whites, as I have said that kind of thing is human nature. What I find sinister is people whose main interest in boxing is to see a white fighter beat up a black fighter or the other side of the coin a black fighter beat up a white fighter.
