FYI: Rojas is a much tougher test than Cab is for Gamboa.

I'll explan. Because Rojas's hand speed is on par with Gamboa's. Rojas has a great straight right hand/ left hook follow up and is real good at controlling distance. He is also 5'7 and has a 71 reach, so Gamboa may struggle to get close. Gamboa better be ready.

That last guy Yordan could barely land anything clean on Caballero. I know the three you mentioned are light year better then Yordan but I think Caballero just has that style that it's just hard to land flush on him. I doubt they KO him Burner, maybe out-hustle/out work him yes.

Rojas is a pretty good fighter and could cause issues for Gamboa but I think Cabellero also presents challenges.

Rojas is the more traditional boxer and that could certainly give Gamboa some problems but Cabellero is awkward and it is tough to say how someone will react to him until you see them in with him.

I think it is easier to prepare for Rojas than Cabellero.

He has the style that can give Gamboa problems. The jab, the right uppercut to catch Gamboa coming in. The nasty straight right hand. The speed.

Watch Gamboa vs. Barros. Gamboa struggles with boxers. If he doesnt have someone trying to lead and throw alot of punches hes in trouble.

Like Im honestly shocked that people cant see that Rojas is the much tougher test.

Fair enough. Watch Rojas vs Espadas and Takahiro Ao. He likes to wait and counter. He looked great doing it because they were so slow, but with the speed Gamboa has his gameplan will go out the window, and he won't be able to deal with the pressure.

Gamboa is a bit chinny, and Pelenchin is a big puncher. That is why Arum is protecting him. Rojas will not hurt Gamboa.

Cab is too hittable for Gamboa, IMO...

Why do you suppose they chose rojas then over Cab?

I lean towards Gamboa knocking Cab out as well, but Cab is a beast, I can certainly see his 10 foot height advantage being a problem for 5'5 Gamboa.
