Dibella always seems to promote the underdogs who end up overachieving. That being said even though Ward has his flaws he is the type of fighter that will do WHATEVER it takes to win. He just has that will to win that many great fighters have. It should be a great fight and I think Green will bring it.

Green caught up on something I've been telling people. Alot of people here on Boxingscene love to talk about Dirrell's lack of inside fighting, but little do they know Ward lacks in that department also. You notice everytime Ward clinches, he does nothing on the inside. He'll either wait untill the ref separates or push off, then throw a jab or straight right hand and clinch. He ain't as skilled as alot of people on here make him out to be.

yeah he was sick going into it and it affected his performance, so he says, but if he was that F'd up you think he would have fought for real? I have seen lots of Green fights and kept hoping he would realize his potential but I dont see it happening, in fact I see Ward boxing him silly and maybe stopping him at some point.

yep he lunges but so far appears to be quick enough to get a way with that. I think he will put it on Green who I think is the weak link now.

I think Green's power is up there with Abraham, its just that he doesnt have an arsenal of moves and accuracy to land that shot. His money shot is that leaping left hook. He was the first to drop Miranda before Pavlik and Abraham got to him. He just need more variety of shots.
