It's a known fact that Montiel has been avoiding Morel(who still is & has been his madatory)& Paco "the Leech" Valcarcel(president of WBO)has done nothing in regards to this matter....But the writer of this article is trying to hype this unknown Domingo guy with a JOURNEY MAN RECORD like he's the next Pacquiao or Donaire to come out of the Phillipines & at the same time taking some shots at Montiel...Domingo has only 14KO's in 56 fights & out of his 14 defeats 5 have been by KO & In November 2008, Domingo was diagnosed with Hepatitis B and was disallowed from entering the United States to fight Nestor Rocha...& this Melendez guy(that the writer described as a menacing-looking Colombian)was coming from a 2 fight loosing streak when he fought Domingo & out of his last 6 fights(before loosing by KO to Domingo)he had lost 4 with 1 by KO...So by the way this looks this guy(Domingo)is NO THREAT to Morel especially on short notice...

The answer this... If Domingo is an over hype or a bum... Why did Hasegawa choose Domingo to be one of his sparring partner for his fight against Montiel...

Another one... Why did Montiel choose Ciso Morales instead of the replacement being offered by ALA which is Domingo? Because Montiel knows he will have an easier time beating Morales...

Another thing Domingo was a victim of mismanagement and the guy has improved allot... He has not lost since the early 2007... Yes he only has 18 KOs... But do you know that out of his last 9 fights... He has won 6 of it through Knock outs or TKO

it went from montiel vs ciso morales being a mismatch (which was never a problem before the fight to him) to ducking domingo.... Hasegawa is 10x better fighter then domingo will ever be, wtf is this guy writing? and if montiel whoops his ass hes gonna start making ****** excuses after the fight that he wore the wrong socks or some ****.

imo, it will be a competitive fight, domingo is a late bloomer with good hand speed and power. 'am not really sure with his stamina but his skills improved a lot. i hope montiel would consider to fight him.
