"Even before this fight (Taylor's fight), we have been mentioning Jermaine Taylor in the negotiating table with Don King and in interviews with the press. I think that fight can happen eventually.
He (Taylor) is a kid that is coming up. He showed a lot of energy and potential. Every day he learns more and more. He was able to beat William Joppy convincingly, who stopped fighting after the eight round... he didn't finish the fight; he just survived to hear the final bell."
About Hopkins fighting on March 12th:
"They (Golden Boy Promotions) must know why they are doing this. Everybody knows Tito will be fighting on that date. TV stations know if airing Hopkins and Tito at the same time is convenient or not. We are not losing any sleep because of this, though. We don't know who will Tito be fighting. We don't have an opponent yet, but Don King knows he has to work on that and he'll do it on the right time."
