Comments Thread For: Tamara Gets Hunger-Boost For Easy Lazarte Defense

By Ryan ******** - Carlos Tamara is not the first world champion that Nelson Fernandez has managed. In 30 years of boxing experience, the New Jersey-based manager has guided the careers of Andrew "Six Heads" Lewis, Beibis Mendoza and Hector Acero-Sanchez to title belts. While all three had their moments of glory, all three enjoyed short, forgettable reigns at the top. [Click Here To Read More]

I don't really get the purpose of fighting Solis. Caldron is tied up the rest of the year. But, I think Tamera should be looking to fight Sergua or Moyal.

Roman Martinez fights at 130. Why in the hell would he want to fight a 108 lb fighter?

Ulises Solis is his mandatory challenger. He has to fight him or he forfeits the belt.

And Solis is a fantastic fighter. He's very good. Mayol or Segura aren't in the same category.

His brother Coloradito is pretty good too.

I personally would like to see Tamara vs. Segura who has a win over Tamara and Tamara vs. Calderon. Segura is a light's out puncher and Tamara's team disputes the loss so it would be a unification with a little back story there.
