i started boxing, cuz i was getting bored of the gym and i needed to vent my frustration. i busted my knee with basketball, so i turned to boxing. never thought i'd love it this much. So i thought: well let me read up on the pro's. and i saw the Cotto v Judah fight.. and that was it. i was hooked, been Cotto and major boxing fan ever since.

Im from Cuba so boxing is a culture for us, specially the amateurs, but the fight that really did for me professionally was problably Tyson vs Holyfield 1

been a hardcore fan and follower of the sport ever since (14 years now)

I actually saw the ESPN highlights from when Bernard Hopkins school'd Tarver and then I was semi-interested. Started watching ESPN fight nights, and then eventually after the De La Hoya-Mayweather fight, I became hardcore fan.

Roy Jones Jr. The first fight i saw him in he got knocked out by Tarver...but back in the day as a youngin all the grown folks would be huddled around the Tv drinkin and stuff watchin Mike Tyson so maybe it started there

For me it was my father that got me into it. A huge fan of Muhammad Ali. Took me to the gym when i was 7 and the rest is history. Pray for me people, I hope I do well, im an amateur right now with a decent record.

2016 olympics is what im aiming for. Look out for Terrel Kingston.
