Yes he was exciting and i personally thought he was the best fighter in the world at one point. But i was biased. I was a fan i suppose.

when naz was at his best so were these fighters: juan marquez, barrera, morales, too sharp johnson, floyd, chico corrales, casamayor, roy, oscar, felix trinidad, etc...

he was never the best fighter at any point of his career. honestly as much as i appreciated naseem's showmanship and punching power; in hindsight he was very comparable to ricardo mayorga.

I suppose he wasnt the best. But trust me, many people did think he was. I suppose he was a good salesman and people believed him.

Too bad he didn't face any good ones that still had something left. He could have faced Floyd and Diego Corrales at 130. Both wanted a piece of him and were willing to go down to his weight class.

Naz knew better. Corrales would have actually ko'd him worse than Floyd would have.

Corrales would've been a raisin at 126lbs. He was bouncing off the deck against Mayweather. Naz would've hospitalised him.
