Why do some of you guys hate Hatton?

Why do a lot of you hate Ricky Hatton?

I just don't get it?

Ricky is a nice guy, he's respectfull, He doesn't go around calling other fighters "ya'll mofo! blah, blah". He's willing to fight anyone... He's an exciting fast paced fighter who always comes to fight. You know with him you're gonna get your monies worth.

I'm trying to figure out why some of you hate Ricky Hatton, because I can't see anything in Ricky Hatton that would provoke that?

Do you not like Ricky Hatton BECAUSE he's a nice guy? BECAUSE he doesn't go around making an arse of himself?

Is it because he made some of you look a little silly with your "Tszyu 1st round KO!" predictions, and he beat Tszyu into submission?

Or do you not like Ricky Hatton because he can sell more tickets than any U.S. fighter? Is it a jealousy thing?

I don't understand what there is in Ricky Hatton that some of you hate so much?

I think people just want to see him fight in the US

could be any of those martin, some people just don't like certain fighters full stop some have valid reasons some don't it's one of those things mate

....Without that ref and without that Arena he wouldn't have been allowed to fight like he did, Zoo would have had distance for his punches, and Hatton would have lost IMO. However, give Hatton credit for the game plan he had by not allowing Zoo to set him up with the right hand. He does seem like a nice guy and even though he beat Zoo(one of my favs) I do kind of like the guy. Especially if he ends up bullying and beating the **** out of PBF. I will love the guy then.

I don't think it's anything to do with Hatton personally Martin, I think it's all about nationality. America is the most hated country in the world, and they are a bunch of disrespectful, arrogant, bull****ting bullies.

I dont understand the dirty fighter idea, what the ****s that about, i've watched every single Hatton fight and the only time he's a little rough is when the opponent starts it by landing low blows or punching after the bell. the only time Hattons been a little too rough was the below picture(LMAO

) but that only because he was fighting at guy he'd been waiting to face his whole career and got a little bit excitited, he's only human after all!!

He's a good fighter, respectful in and out of the ring and the only reason i can think of why people hate him is because they were wrong.
