I wonder if Montiel will be forced to fight Morel now. Morel is his mandatory. If Donaire-Montiel isn't made, Montiel might as well get this one outta the way if he wants to keep his WBO belt.

I wonder if the cut was as bad as JCC Sr. back when he fought ODLH or Foreman's cut in Zaire. Oh well, Arce's a fun fighter, but I wasn't buying into that whole "historic 4th championship in 4th weight division" Travieso ain't got nothin but them interim titles.

Unhappy for Arce getting cut. Check
Happy for Arce not getting the chance to claim a bogus title. Check.
Happy for Morel getting screwed over out of a payday over a shot fighter after being convicted of child ******ing. Check.

You took the words right out of my mouth, I was about to say that the cut, if 3" deep, would reach into his brain. It certainly isn't 3" long either. Maybe she means 3 millimetres.....?

The cut isn't over the eyebrow, but just below the eyebrow bony ridge, in the socket, actually the eyelid, as can be seen in the picture. It actually looks well on it's way to being healed.

Atleast arce has enough respect for his opponent and fans to show proff of his injury. I'm talking to you Tavoris Cloud and Marcos Maidana.

Ah man. I was looking forward to Travieso's return against an opponent of Morel's caliber. Looked like a nasty gash though, maybe three inches deep. Hope it heals well and we see more of him in the future.
