Are Fists Only... Gentlemans Fighting...?

i know alot of these boxing diehards... hate mma, i just want to know some reasons....


alot of people i know to hate mma, for the kicks, and elbows, and knees, the takedowns etc.. and they say fists are the only way gentleman, and real man fight, and cowards fight using the other moves...

is that your opinion on why you hate mma.. you just dont like the other moves, you like boxing, cause its a gentleman's way of fighting....

Boxing is a gentlemen's sport based on it's history of people in suits, and betting.

The people in suits back in the day were supposed "gentlemen" in the fact that they wore suits and carried themselves in a certain way.

I am an MMA fan, just coming to boxing these last few months. People get into mma for different reasons then to be gentlemen like. Ex: A kid/young man would get into mma for self defense reasons, as well as getting into shape.

I don't see mma as a gentlemens sport in any sense.
