    If Haye fought Chagaev....

    what would your opinion be?

    Chagaev is now Haye's mandatory.

Chagaev never lost his title in a boxing ring.

Chagaev was considered a perfectly fine opponent for Wlad last year

Many say Chagaev would beat Haye

Overall I wouldn't be thrilled but i'd find it borderline acceptiable

I would pick Haye to win by late KO.

      Unacceptable.

The cowardly ***** Haye needs to fight a Klitschko or retire.

Chagaev was considered a perfectly fine opponent for Wlad last year, because everyone knew he was the real WBA champion, then Wlad beat him.

Haye vs Chagaev has no real meaning now other than Chagaev trying to "reclaim" a belt that isn't really his to begin with anymore.

I wouldn't be very happy. Based solely on the fact that Haye probably only has 4 fights left in his career, this would be quite an uninspiring choice. That said, Chags is still one of the better fighters in the division so it would at least make some boxing sense unlike the rumoured fight with Harrison. Although a Harrison fight would be much more entertaining.

Its a good fight but if Haye squeaks by lets say and only wins a close debatable decision......the interest in the Haye/Wlad fight will be hurt and Haye will to a large degree have lost his appeal for obvious reasons.
