Why is Tua fighting Barrett

I do not see the point of this fight Barretts shot to ****,what will this prove i could understand if it was a warm up but Tua has fought recently.

Fighting guys like Barrett should not justify a title shot,at least beat Queen Pin Johnson or Chambers
