you do have a great sense of humourI don't care what the current state of the Heavyweight division is; Vitali Klitschko would be an imposing (and probably dominant) figure in any era.
I'm an historian of the division, and it is in a sad state now, but this guy, at his best, would be a beast for anyone. How would Frazier or Louis hope of ever even getting to this guy? How would Liston handle a crack from a Klitschko straight right? What would Ali do when yielding 4" and a ton of reach to a guy who's jab is just as good, but twice as powerful?
I'm not claiming that Klitschko is a GOAT candidate; far from it. But in the head-to-head department, he's awesome. It's a shame he was sidelined with so many injuries, and a bigger shame that we can't get this division going again. When the heavyweights are exciting, boxing is on top of the world. Mike Tyson brought it to its zenith and then subsequently tore it (and his career) down when he went with Don King.
it is a shame Vitali has never been tested by a top fighter and future HOFer in shape, because then you could maybe say he wouyld have been a match for the likes of Louis
LOL at his jab being as good and twice powerful as Ali

A very wise comment. No doubt if one of the Klitschkos did destroy Toney, the guy asking for the fight would give them no credit anyway.
Toney got whupped by Fres Oquendo, fer gawd's sake.Comment

Klichkos in their best shapes will destroy EVERY past champion. My opinion. So you are rightI don't care what the current state of the Heavyweight division is; Vitali Klitschko would be an imposing (and probably dominant) figure in any era.
