  • Rafael Marquez's win was weak to me...

Targeting a man's cut with your head and gloves is just weak to me. Rafael used his head twice on saturday to help open the cuts over Vazquez's eyes.

I know it's legal, but it just comes off as weak to me.

It's kind of not his fault since Varquez comes in with his head a lot, plus, those cuts would have been opened eventually, thats obvious. But you're right about his win. Vasquezs > Marquez 2 wins. Though if you're strong enough to stop man on cuts, it's still a win.

Vasquez was leaning in as well, it wasn't as if Marquez was the Junk Yard Dog head butting him constantly. Plus, Vasquez cartilage under both eyes was obviously thin as can be.

Except for the head part targetting a cut its smart boxing ive done it when you see blood you go for blood...specially when your facing a guy who beat you twice, now who I was strongly pissed off at in that fight was the reff he let that go on for way longer then it should have....what was he waiting for the mans eye to pop out hes face?

You forgot that those cuts where a result of precision punching through out all 3 fights by marquez. Those cuts where there because of him.
