why Larry Merchant should not go

Larry Merchant is easily the worst commentator in boxing

And has been for a long time

oh yeah you did put me on ignore, so what, does that make me a lesser person? oh no i dont believe so. does that make you a great one, neither that homie, it only shows how arrogant, ignorant and shallow minded you are. put everyone on ignore, its your lost not theirs.

you should at best put larry merchant on ignore too so youll not get to see or hear him.

I have never liked Larry Merchant because he brings nothing to the telecast. He is known mostly for his little comments and his Andy Rooney type comments at the end of fights.

Personally I could do without them. I think the best guy out there right now is Al Bernstein, unfortunately he's on Showtime. He actually TALKS boxing and doesn't get involved with all the philosophical bull****.

I also think Max Kellerman is great, he's young, has fresh ideas and you can tell he loves the sport of boxing. He says things that are hot topics or opinions that most people on the internet feel.

there were times that max was too hysterical for me, for me what did it for him was the one he conducted after floyd won over jmm. he can easily panicked and at one point i was seeing him as elie sechback, the reeeporting guy.
larry merchants character adds color to the already colorful roster of boxers around, his words adds controversies on its own to the already controversial world of boxing. when he talks he leans forward to the boxers face sideways and ask questions as direct as you can get without any preamble, as it is. no matter how you hate the guy or how a boxer for that matter hate him and wanted to punch his nose right there and then, he cannot, thats larry merchant. if you noticed when the one hes interviewing tries to evade his question he tries to really get the guy to answer them so that fans will hear it. larry merchant adds entertainment to the post fight interview.

I made this point before as well. I don't hate Max, but how can people even respect this guy as a commentator when he looked like he was about to cry, asking for mommy and daddy once FLoyd put him on the spot. It was really pathetic to watch. What do you think will happen if a badass heavyweight start talking down on him? Curl into a ball and suck his thumb? lol

I like Larry cus he's been there for such a long time and he also like to talk **** to boxers...and no he's not racist, the guy was part of a group that managed Joe Frazier.

I am a big Merchant fan ,but i think his time is up he is not very crisp anymore and takes forever to let out a sentence,in his prime though he is the best commentator of alltime in my opinion.

He's been a little too negative about just everything lately, thats his main problem. At times it sounds like he hates what he's doing instead the other way around.

Even on positive fights/nights, he finds someway to interject some negative point. He did it with Berto/Quintana, Martinez/Pavlik, If you saw E:60 with Yuri Foreman on ESPN, he did it there too lol.

I don't see why people fuss so much about Merchant. I laugh every time he interviews someone with that long pause lol.

So he doesn't like certain fighters, so what? You think he's the only one? LOL
