I had the same thoughts prior to the fight while wanting the replays of the fights. The third was close enough but I did think the stoppage in the second was premature.

In terms of technical skill, I'd agree. But personally found Izzy to be a better fighter. Both are gutsy warrior. Sans the "quitting" that was absolved twice, Izzy seems to always go to the canvass but often manage to win afterwards.

Vazquez proved himself the better fighter. Marquez may have more technical skill but Vazquez's infighting told the tale. In the third fight ultimately it was Vazquez's heart that won it - he came out in the 12th round like a man possessed while Marquez came out with nothing and crumbled.

Co-sign I felt he won the 3rd fight also. Horrible job by the ref when he deducted that point for a clean bodyshot that he thought was a lowblow.

rafa was robbed of a draw on the scorecards cause that dumbass ref took a point for a punch on the belt line. ****** should have stayed on the sidelines. stop ruining a historic trilogy cause you want to be noticed.

I always felt Raf was more skillful and Izzy was more willful. What Izzy lacked in skill, he made up for in his will to win. It's too bad that when you get older, the will goes away easier than the skill. What I saw lastnight, aside from the bad eyes, was a shell of the Izzy I remembered from the trilogy. I hope they are done. I don't want to see a 5th. Let it be that they tied the series and were a perfect match for each other.

I had Izzy slightly up by 1 point because of the kd in the 3rd fight but I agree over all Rafa is better and the stoppage in the 2nd fight was very very early.
