95% of Floyd Mayweather fans have been there since his olympic days. And no matter who Floyd Mayweather faces his opponents "fans" all say the same stuff over and over. Floyd hasnt seen a fighter like this, he hasnt been faced with a hard hitter, he hasnt seen speed like this. Then when Floyd wins its an excuse and its on the next opponent & that opponents furious fans. Ricky hatton was a perfect example of this. FLoyd fans were verbally attacked after Ricky the hitman Hatton beat collazo at 147 & stopped castilo with a body shot. They all said "Hatton beat castilo faster, floyd couldnt do that". Floyd ko Hatton and the excuses spilled out of their asses like runny ****.

Pacquiao's fan base grew after he stopped a drained Oscar. Pacquiao wasnt fighter of the decade before then. Where was manny fans 3 years ago when he was getting his ass kicked my erick & marquez?

Go to youtube and watch some of mannys old fights. Click on the oldest comments. THere is no fighter of the decade talk. There is no FLoyd talk. Look at the current comments. There all over his nuts!

You are full of ****. I have been a Floyd fan since he beat Genaro Hernandez and won te 130 pound title. That was long before 2007. I am sure that most of his other fans were fans of his long before Oscar also. I doubt if any of Pac's "fans" on this site ever heard of Pac in 2001. Pac has fought exactly one outstanding fighter in his prime -- Marquez. Pac could not have beaten any of those "longshot HOFers" as you put it if he had fought them at the time and under the conditions that Mayweather fought them. Nor could he have beaten Baldomir. If you don't believe that, ask Roach why he refused to fight the old, washed-up Mosley. If I remember correctly, his response was that Mosley was "too good."

also explain why Manny's PPV with Morales did more numbers than Floyds fights with Gatti, Baldomir and Judah, If his fans aren't loyal and buying his fights....esp considering he had just lost to Morales. When Floyd loses, he will be fighting on HBO World Championship Boxing as most people just tune in to see him lose.

Trying to use PPV numbers to argue in favor of Pac is suicidal. It could easily be argued that many of those people were buying the fight to see Morales. Also, how many PPV did Pac do against Oscar compared to Floyd? How many did Pac do against Hatton compared to Floyd? How many did Pac do with Marquez compared to Floyd? When Floyd beats Pac's ass, he won't be fighting on WCB. He will retire!
