What risk? Abregu is 27 he has never been a world champion or a top10 welterweight or even faced a top 10 fighter. Ask yourself how good could this guy really be?

Kotelnik is a good fighter so no complaints from me about this fight

It is funny though, khan gets hated on for stepping up and fighting a 'weak' champion in kotelnik, but we should all suck devons devons **** for fighting him now? I dont think so somehow

The difference is Khan fought Kotelnik to avoid big punchers. Devon is only fighting Kotelnik because Tim Bradley doesn't want any and Maidana is hurt.

But Tim Bradley won't fight Devon Alexander, Maidana is ****** up supposedly, and Khan certainly isn't going to fight Devon yet.

It's as good a fight as he can get at this point. At least he's going against a former world champion.
SO? paulie malignaggi was former world champion but amir khan is always the 'cherry picker'

amir khan fights kotelnik - he's a cherry picker kotelnik is the weakest champion

alexander fights kotelnik - woow he chooses a good fight kotelnik is better than people think!

alexander fights urango - woooow he's fighting a tough guy

and if amir fights urango - wtff urango is old and slow and alexander already beat him. khan is a cherry picker!

                  stop bustin amirs balls!

When Khan considered to fight Kotelnik he got labeled cherry picker,]

No one says anything about Devon.
Like who? Who should he be fighting? Judah, Bradley and nearly everyone in the division is turning him down so who should he be fighting?

He's got a mandatory. Mabuza is the guy who just beat Holt. That's who Alexander should fight and not this guy.
