Who is the greatest brother combination in history?

I only started watching boxing in 1994, so I dont know about whether or not their were any pairs of brothers that were both great years before that. The two that are obvious to me know are the Klitschkos and the Marquez brothers. Who do you feel has had the better combined career between these two sets and why. Also who else should make the list. I know that Anthony and Lamont Peterson are out there, but have yet to really hit the limelight and hit the level of Jaun and Rafael. Thoughts?

If you posted this on the history board, you'd probably get more responses. But for now, I'd say it's the Klitschkos. The Marquez brothers are both Hall of Famers, but I've never seen two brothers absolutely terrorize a division like Vitali and Wladimir.

Only started watching in 94.......you'd give most of the kids on this board a run for their money in terms of experience.

The Spinks' (I have no idea if that's how I'm meant to pluralise 'Spinks' by the way) and the Marquez bro's. I say the Marquez brothers take it.

Thanks, three of those four were before my time as a boxing fan. To point, I feel that both Marquez brothers are future hall of famers, both great fighters, Rafael was on fire last night. I know Ray Robinson was great, how did Walker stack up in comparison. And how did Samaniego compare to Roberto, see what Im getting at? How many of these brother combos were both great as are the Marquez brothers and the Klitschkos, I feel that the K bros are both great fighters, I just dont particularly pull for them or call myself a fan of them.

                  i was joking.

cassius marcellus clay is muhammad ali.

ray robinson's real name is walker smith jr.

roberto duran was born roberto duran samaniego.

henry armstrong's real last name is jackson.

a lot of the old school fighters fought under fake names or copied other fighter's names.

jersey joe walcott named himself after barbados joe walcott and manassas mauler jack dempsey named himself against nonpareil jack dempsey.

oddly enough they ended up being more well known in history than the guys they were named after.

only real brother combo on my list is manny and bobby pacquiao which is a joke because bobby is mediocre.

for a real brother combo aside from the klitschkos and marquez , look up the galaxy brothers from thailand or the ruelas brothers or even the spinks.
