It's clear after Harrison Haye will be forced to fight Chagaev.

And believe me this is exactly as he wanted it. He probably won't 'choose' to face Chagaev yet when he can milk it versus Harrison as an optional then be ordered by the WBA to face Chagaev as his mandatory.

Haye is smart. very smart. This ties him up for another year. Maybe two considering how sparesly he fights; remember it's 3 fights in 3 years so far for him.

Get used to it lads. It's sad but it's the truth. Sucks for us boxing fans though.

Huh, I just gotta say that the slogan on the poster for Klitschko/Haye fight that was supposed to happen last summer turned out to be very true. The war between K2 and Haye definately revealed a lot about everyone's character.

hmm, maybe if you weren't claiming to be a mind reader in your opening statement I'd warm to your opinion more, but as it currently stands I think the reasons you state are actually the reasons the Harrison fight will never happen. Also, despite him being a relatively inactive boxer your 3 fights in 3 years statement is just a lie, which again doesn't help if you want people to take you seriously.

Who knows if this fight will happen, but for now we can only really go by what Haye and his team have said, and when the subject of a fight with Harrison has been brought up in the past (and I mean as recently as last month), both Haye and Booth have laughed their arses off at the idea.

Well you're right actually.......it's 4 fights in 3 years and 5 months if you want to be precise. Or one every 10.25 months.

          Thanks for pointing that out.

P.S. Also the media is reporting he's looking to fight Harrison. But I wouldn't expect you to take me seriously - you appear to be giving Haye the benefit of doubt here

There is no way David Haye gets past Chagaev. So whether he faces a Klitschko or not, his shenanigans should come to an end within two fights. The day Haye gets his title taken will be the happiest day in my life as a boxing fan!

                lol

yeah, strangely enough I think it's best to be precise. So I am duty bound to point out that you are still incorrect. Since you have changed the date range I'll follow suit - he has fought 6 times in 3 years and 26 days.

Given the stats you have supplied as facts, I think it's probably a good thing that you're not expecting me to take you seriously

Oh, and yes - I know it's not really the boxingscene way, but for the time being I am most definitely giving Haye the benefit of the doubt.

Haye will probably fight Audley Harrison and then Chagaev and then I wouldn't be surprised if he retired. He has no heart in the sport and only wants the big paydays which he would get by fighting Audley, I dont think Haye cares about legacy.

This is a disgrace to the sport, yet sadly I'm not surprised. The fans are denied yet again...it just goes to show that Haye wasn't the "saviour" that many people believed him to be. It's not happening and Haye has become part of the problem than the solution.
