          I actually agree.....
there is no reason at all for Mayweather to change his position on the 14-day cutoff date.

I did hear his earlier comment about no cutoff and testing right up to the fight, but that was said out-of-negotiation, and he was probably pissed that the cutoff date was the sticking point that killed the fight.

I hope I'm wrong here, I really do..... but I think that the cutoff date for OST's will not be the roadblock that prevents this fight from happening.

I think that both sides will agree to an acceptable cutoff date for OST's, but I also think that Floyd will demand more money.

I don't think that he will ask for more money to hamper the negotiations, he will just want more money, plain and simple.

          I hope I'm wrong.

Floyd is bothered by SMALL Pacquiao

Why is FLOYD making demands on smaller dudes... and in the past not making demands on boxers his own size and not making demands on boxers bigg ... wait a minute... he doesn't fight people bigger than him.... like PACQUIAO does, like MOSLEY does, like HATTON does, like MARQUEZ does, like COTTO does.

I mostly agree with you that Mayweather's crusade to clean up the sport is a joke but I am going to politely disagree with you re: the running from the fight thing

Pac could easily have accepted the same OST terms back in January, that he agreed to yesterday.....

I have to be honest with you here....

Reading these Mayweather/Pacquiao threads is really hard work man.

I live in a different time zone than most guys here, and when I log on to a May/Pac thread for the first time there are sometimes over 40 pages of posts

After reading those 40+ pages I realise that the content of the entire thread is nearly identical to every single May/Pac thread this year.

They all end exactly the same way.....
After thrashing out all the various angles and opinions you have for the most part two differing viewpoints, depending on who your favourite fighter is.

Neither side is willing to bend on their opinion, because it will mean conceding something to the other side..... or more importantly, it will mean conceding something about their fighter. And noone wants to believe that their guy is less than perfect.

Personally, if this fight gets made, I'm just about at the stage where I'm hoping for a double KO in the 12th following a brutal war. Manny and Floyd are both acting like Prima Donna's.

I hope you really enjoy this fight if it happens bro, may the best man win.

I think I'm done with May/Pac threads, I love the knowledgable posts and hearing guys talk about their favourite fighter, but it takes soooo long to read 40-50 pages only to end up exactly where you were back in January
