In lieu of the Mayweather Gatti fight, why do people dislike trash talkers so much, Ali was hated because of his mouth, but he backed it up in the ring as well as mayweather and others, so why do you or people you know hate thrash talkers...I was under the impression that it isn't thrash talk if you can back it up, besides that what's wrong with patting your ownself on the back?

I think a little trash talking can be good for the sport. Gatti might be the bigger ticket seller but there is no doubt that Mayweather has sold this PPV. I think Mayweather has drawn alot more attention to this PPV than there would of been if he didn't talk as much as he did.
