Wow those cuts alone should retire him because if they opened up that much in a 3 round fight imagine a 12 rounder......

But yea its time to go since he just doesnt have it anymore

I agree, I saw this coming when he made his 'comeback' against Angel Priolo, he was not just rusty, but spent. The wars took a toll on his body. When he weighed in I looked right at his eyes and saw his eyelids. They looked puffy and weird. I thought 'wow those are puffy eyelids somethings different, and he's also prone to cutting, this fights probably gonna get stopped on cuts.' It didn't get stopped on cuts, but it might as well have been stopped on cuts because Vasquez clearly couldn't see properly which led to the stoppage. I wish it was a war, and I wish it wasn't, because these guys have been through too much. Boxing is a blood and guts sport, and that's exactly what the fans wanna see. Vasquez should consider retirement. I don't say this often, but he doesn't look like he used too. He definitely needs to think about his options.

This fight played out sort of like i expected.

The winner would be based on who had more at this point, and based on the result, it was Marquez who has more left in the tank.

Both guys still look like they have their speed and combination punching. I don't buy into this thing that Vazquez is physically shot.

His only problem is his eyes busting up so easily, but from a punching standpoint he can still fight.
