Comments Thread For: Arum: Margarito, Number One To Replace Mayweather

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum told the Star-Telegram that Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s refusal to fight Manny Pacquiao at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas is not a deal-breaker for a November mega-fight. Mayweather will demand a Las Vegas venue. Arum is open to making the fight at the MGM Grand. [Click Here To Read More]

If he wanted to show his commitment to the fight like he claims he is, then he shouldn't spit out a 'replacement' opponent, he should say Plan A, B, and C is trying to make the richest/biggest, most anticipated fight in history happen.

**** you Bob Arum, Margacheato isn't number 1. Pacquiao better not give that dirty ****ing cheater a pay-day. Go **** yourself bob arum, you even called Margarito a cheater yourself when Cotto and Pacquiao fought. Now quit trying to make up for your investment loss you chump. Pacquiao better fight someone else like Berto, Bradley, or Alexander. He better not give that cheating disgrace a pay-day.

margarito needs a win over a top opponet to make this fight credible hopefully arum sees that and pushes this fight back until margs proves that he is the same fighter he was before mosley with a win over someone in the top 10 of the ww or jrmw division

if many loses to mayweather" which he will" the the glory is gone. but if pac fights margacheato regardless who wins or loses bob arum wins. the pac vs mayweather fight will not happen.

So Pacquiao will be fighting Shane Mosley's sloppy seconds? I'm not impressed.
