Hopkins is gonna lose because Taylor is bigger, stronger, faster, younger, and has a stellar jab. It has nothing to do with a video game cover.

yeah I am not part of the showtime crowd.
But I was watching the Klischko brother take out bums in good old
      Europe.

Agreed, IF he wins, those will be the reasons. I would add hungrier. If he doesn't win, it will be because Hopkins is simply a much better boxer.

funny you say that trigger. How come Ricky Hatton never recieved the EA curse. If anything that **** helped his ass.

Hatton fights were actually not hard to come by. Showtime showed Hatton constantly (including many re-runs of his old fights) and I probably saw him as often if not more often than any other fighter over the last couple years.
So why the **** exactly did you think he'd be a top P4P fighter? I saw all those same fights you did and thought he ****ing ******. Just a really aggressive volume punching brawler. That's still my opinion of him. I did pick him to beat Tszyu though. Check the betting stuff here if you don't believe me.

I just knew Tszyu would do whatever to avoid a match against Judah, including losing to a worse fighter like Hatton. *sighs*

It was sort of a throw away pick. Somebody started a "Who will be Ring's top 10 P4P in 2005/2006" thread, and I threw out 10 names and then added Hatton as an 11th.

But since you asked, it was mostly his youth and style.

He has good footwork, is very aggressive, works the body like few other fighters today and appears to take a hell of a punch.

Looking around at all the young guns, I just didn't see 10 that I would put ahead of him, assuming he continued to develop.
