I like Bob Papa doing commentary. his voice fits.

I dont really need boxing commentary to tell me whats going on, because I KNOW whats going on probably better than most commentary knows anyway...I prefer someone just stating whats happening in an enjoyable voice, and throws out facts and stats I might want to know.

the best commentary is either that snide ******* from Eurosport or Bob Sheridan though.

100% agree, his voice is becoming synonymous with BAD imo.

Exactly the way i am, tis like Max Kellerman, putting aside how he goes OTT with the superlatives, he does do a good job of breaking down the landscape in Boxing at that particular point, however his voice, face are so annoying that i cant take to him, Gus Johnson might not been too clued up, might ride the balls of Showtime fighters, but he brings an excitement level with his passion that can only be matched by Lamps imo, his call of Taylor/Froch was classic stuff.

I got a chuckle out him the first time I heard him announce a basketball game, but have become quite nauseauted by his commentary ever since. He's quite dreadful and knows little to nothing about boxing.

Ah Gus Jonston is a ledge, he makes fights more entertaining, id have Gus, Adam Smith and Emmanuel Steward commentating for any fight and maybe Roy Jones
