I can't help but feel a lot of sorrow right now. I hope Izzy managed his money well.

He had a good career and he should at least get strong consideration for the HOF. Wins over Gonzalez, Larios two out of three times, and splitting his fights with Marquez is nothing to sneeze at. And he won all of his fights with an exclamation point on them and was only unable to be competitive tonight. I'm kind of leary of flat out saying he's a HOF lock though.

sad to hear, great to see, israel is the man, he's given so much of himself to the sport, just what the sport needs, a class act warrior.

watching him come into the ring tonight, i noticed his right eyebrow was already knotted up and i said, that is going to get cut open within the first round.........

any who, vazquez is the man, and he deserves a happy and healthy retirement.

there really isnt anything you can say to israel other than THANK YOU, you're the epitome of what a real fighter should be! thanks Izzy........

izzy needs to learn some defense if he wants to continue. he can't just take a pounding like he did vs rafa.

When I saw him come out like that, I said, "he needs to retire". His face looked deformed and you could see the overhang of skin on the eyelid.
