I don't know if it was a head butt that opened it up, but it wouldn't have mattered. Priolo gave Vazquez hell in his last fight. Priolo, a guy who's been KO'd by tiny ass fighters. Vazquez was done coming into this and everybody knew it. They knew his eyes couldn't possibly hold up.

the cuts kinda ruined the fight.

The fight stunk, Vazquez cuts too easily now and his eyes never healed properly. And I doubt he can even see out his eyes as good as he once did. I think its time for these two warriors to move on and fight other fighters or retire.

Izzy is one of my favorite fighters, but I think you're right. He should start thinking about hanging them up. A 5th fight with Marquez would not be entertaining and not worth risking his eyesight over.

i didn't know about vazquez's eye before his ring walk. sad that he came to the fight already damaged. they shouldn't have a 5th fight unless both fighters are at 100%.
