Fighters never fight the same way twice...

So we really need to stop talking dumb **** like,"if that were the Shane that fought Margarito he would have beat Floyd" or "the Pac that fought Cotto would have destroy JMM". NO... style make fights, which is the reason you rarely see a fighter fight the same way twice. Some fighter counter, some fighter throw the jab more, some fighters slip puncher better. All of these are the reason we can't say weather the Mosley of the past would have beat Floyd or the current Pac would fare any better at LW against JMM.

Whoever said that the Mosley who fought Margarito would beat Mayweather needs to retire from the sport of boxing because they don't know **** about the sweet science. However this comment is acceptable from someone who is a casual fan, or just got into the sport. Nevertheless whoever made the comments that you posted needs to re evaluate their perception and understanding of the sport.

In boxing you look for subtleties like is the footwork better, is their timing or angles different.

Things either get better or worse, rarely the same.
