Antonio Tarver...Marvin Hagler had to fight almost 50 fights to earn a title shot I believe...

B-Hop is well known for coming up the hard way compared to his Rival Roy Jones.

James Toney, almost no AM career.

Fought his way to a title shot, beat Nunn, Reggie Johnson and Mike McCallum in less than two years with defences in between.

Then moved up to SMW beat Barkley, Thornton, Williams and then losing badly against Jones Jr.

EVeryone wrote him off after that loss and losses to Montell Griffin, then he came back to fight Jirov at Cruiser, everyone thought he'd lose at the time because he hadn't won a championship fight in almost 10 years and he won.

The other day Juanma Lopez was talking about fighting the winner. God, let's hope that fight can be made so Rafa can show him how real fighters respond to a direct challenge...not like how Lopez has responded to Caballero.
