Meehan/Chagaev round by round coverage.

Nothing happening in round 1. Meehan pawing out the jab, not even really trying to land it. Chagaev knocking the jab down. Chagaev lands a decent left hand. Chagaev with a body shot. Meehan misses with a right. Very slow round, a lot of pawing with the jabs. Hard to tell who won that round, probably Chagaev, overall a boring round with not much work done.

Round 2 -

More pawing with the jab from Meehan. Meehan missing big with his right. Chagaev lands a big left on Meehan. Meehan miossing Chagaev counters with a left. Chagaev left and right land. Chagaev left lands. Meehan left lands. Meehan doing nothing with his jab, Chagaev counters with a right. Chagaev to the body, and again to the body. Both guys just pawing each others jabs, Chagaev lands big and Meehan tries to fire back but mostly misses.

Round 3-

More pawing from Meehan. Nothing effective at all from him. Meehan missing, then landing a right. Meehan with a left, chagaev counters back. Meehan landing a job but gets counterd by a chagaev right hand. Meehan better with his jab. Meehan right hand. Chagaev misses and Meehan counters. Meehan appears scared to engage at times. Chagaev with 2 rights. Meehan with 2 body shots. Chagev with two big punches on Meehan. Round over, best round for Meehan, I'll give him that one.

Round 4

Chagaev lands a right, now Meehan. Periods of long inactivity, Chagaev lands 3 HUGE lefts, has Meehan stunned on the ropes. Lands a right. Lands a huge left on Meehan. Meehan lands a right jab. Chagaev 3 big left hands on Meehan. Meehan looks tired already. Meehan with a right. Meehan missing a lot, Chagaev counters him well with the left! More pawing jabs, totally nothing on them. Chagaev lands another left on Meehan.

Replay shows Meehan close to going down in that round from Chagaev crisp lefts on the ropes.
