The time / circumstances have changed nothing, except for the money.
Arum and Pac needed to take that 50% when it was sitting on the table.
They will not get 50% now.
The money is now the most likely sticking point to getting this fight made.

Lets get it on floyd.
DAMN!! Floyd being a ***** again about drug testing so we gotta see another PAC vs NON-MAYWEATHER fight .. come on FLOYD.. 33 years old and only have 41 fights.. That's called the ***** mentality. I don't know why FLOYD doesn't want to run through boxers like PAC does. To protective of his 0 loss record.

It's more about who you fought, and when you fought them, than how many pro fights you had.
True, tell that to SRRbut you get my point.
Even though I rate Mayweather very highly indeed, and I think that there is still time for him to carve his name on the boxing legends tree, who he has fought to-date is more questionable than how many pro fights he has had.
BUt you gotta admit, the way he dealt with Mosley was masterful..... and it was a fkn great start toward knocking some of those names off that "hit-list" that he made before he un-retired. And don't think for one second that Cotto wouldn't get some if he was still relevant at 147.
Some laughed at that hit-list, but you are knieve if you do not realise that Mayweather came back for Pac. Which makes the "Floyd is ducking Manny" thing an absolute joke.
Floyd took away the only advantage that Shane had in that fight from the very second the bell rang for round one. Mayweather had an edge in speed, skills, ring IQ, and he about matched Mosley in experience. Shane had a proven edge in power, heart, and chin.
I expected that Shane would seriously take the fight to Floyd right from the first bell. I expected that Floyd would be needing to use TONNES of slick footwork and right-hand leads just to keep Shane off him, and that establishing the perimeter could take 3 rounds at least.
What did Floyd do? He took away every advantage that Shane had by meeting him in the middle of the ring right from the first bell. He took a risk early and tried to negate Shane's aggression and power by taking the fight to him, in an attempt to establish the perimeter early so that the difference in the fight would come down to technical skills.
Mayweather knew that he had time to recover and adjust if things didn't go to plan early, and he knew that once he had Shane where he wanted him that the fight would be much easier.
It was a great gameplan, he just overplayed it.
Floyd had Shanes respect by round two, and he knew that Mosley was not gonna try to walk through him, so he should have boxed him from that point on. The sooner it became a contest of skills, the sooner that Mayweather could start racking up the rounds.
It was a mistake to continue to mess with Shane flat-footed at that point in the fight.
People who say that Shane gassed crack me up.
If you go in with Mayweather and gas by round 3, then I don't care who you are, you are gonna get KTFO !! And, Shane did not look gassed in round 6, 7, 8, that I watched on replay at my friend's house about 3 weeks ago.
Watch Floyd's feet 30 seconds before Shane connected in round two, then watch Floyd's feet from the bell at the start of round threeTHAT, is what changed in round three, NOT Mosley gassing.
Stick to wrestling guys.
