You thought I meant Vitali? lol
I was hoping the champ would come home to Indianapolis for this fight, but it looks like Europeans will see Brewster's next KO and we Americans will have to watch on TV...

Santos vs Spinks next?
By Alessandro Ferrarini
According to Puerto Rican newspaper 'San Juan Star' WBO jr. middleweight champ Daniel Santos (29-2-1; 20KOs) will make his next title defense versus former welterweight monarch Cory Spinks (34-3; 10KOs). In fact, Santos should fight his mandatory challenger Sergej Dzindziruk (30-0; 21KOs) of Ukraine but it looks like Don King, representing both Santos and Spinks, reached an agreement with Dzindziruk's handler Klaus Peter Kohl of Germany and the European contender would momentarily step aside and allow Santos vs Spinks to go ahead in the fall.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Furthermore, it is rumored that this agreement is only part of a bigger deal: as a payoff for the step-aside move made by Kohl, King would allow the German promoter to stage in Europe the mandatory defense of WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster (32-2; 28KOs). The mandatory challenger for Brewster is former Euro champ Luan Krasniqi (28-1-1; 14KOs), who recently stopped Lance Whitaker in a title eliminator.
